This award recognizes the leadership of mid-career scholars in the development of our field.

This award recognizes the leadership of mid-career scholars the the development of our field. Mid-career is defined here as those who have published at least one monograph and/or large collection of articles and/or who have demonstrated leadership through teaching, mentorship, and collaboration and who hold the rank of Associate Professor or full Professor (Reader, Senior Lecturer, or Professor) or the equivalent.  This award recognizes a body of work, rather than a singular project.  This award is intended to recognize the potential for leadership in the field as well as its realization.
